Design Diary

This site has been created by Riona Techman using Wix for Dr. Jesse Fox's COMM 3545 Design Diary assignment. Special care has been taken to design this website in keeping with principles of good design. Legible, appropriately sized sans-serif font has been chosen to keep text readable. A hovering menu bar keeps navigation options visible. According to Fitts' Law, because the menu bar is constrained by the top of the screen, it will be easier and quicker for users to reach with their mouse. Hierarchy has been used to organize the evaluations on this website. Colors and fonts have been used consistently throughout the site. Lastly, this website embodies the principle of Ockham's razor, which states that simple designs should be preferred.

Each design that has been evaluated has also been given an arbitrary seal of approval. After all, if a website has a special seal, surely it must be valuable and trustworthy.
